In 2019, when the Parker Players Theater Company lost its original home to progress in Barrington, IL a spark of resilience ignited. Led by the visionary Mark Parker and a community of dreamers, the theater found strength in adversity. Unfazed by the absence of a permanent space, they turned makeshift venues into stages, bringing to life captivating productions like "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" and "12 Angry Men."

Despite a brief hiatus due to the 2020 pandemic, Parker Players not only persevered but thrived, celebrating local talent in diverse settings. Now, the story takes a jubilant turn as the company proudly announces a permanent residence at 'The Barrington' on 540 W. Northwest Highway.

The next act? The 'Stage the Build' campaign, an exciting initiative to transform their new home into a cutting-edge black box theater. As the spotlight shines on this fresh chapter, Parker Players invites the community to be part of the joyous narrative, helping bring their vibrant vision for Barrington's cultural future to life. The stage is set, and the community is poised to create something truly extraordinary together.
